Anyone have anything they've written that they'd like to swap or share?
It's one thing for friends and family to say "Wow - great job! That's awesome!", but for some reason, I'm a bit cynical when it comes to believing them. I'd try to get a "professional", such as a literary agent to look at it, but I'm still perfecting the perfect query letter.
I noticed that quite a few people seem to be interested in that November Writing contest, which means there are probably some people on here who like to write. If you'd like to swap and get an honest critique, let me know... |

If you're in Daejeon, I'm interested, although not until the madness of November is over |

I can understand your interest in getting honest critiques. I took a creative writing poetry course in university, and half of the course was referred to as "field work" where we simply presented what we'd written to a small group of classmates, who would critique it. Once we got over the initial discomfort with sharing our writing, and critiquing that of others, it was absolutely awesome. |
