I was talking to the foreign teacher at the school I will shortly be working at and he asked me what my blood type was, apparently for the director who was listening in. I informed him that it was A+, that it wasn't rare or anything, and why did he need to know. He said he wasn't sure, it was a korean thing, and that if any girls ask for my blood type to tell them it was O. Again he couldn't tell me exactly why this was neccessary, so I'm asking you folks here.

And just because I added a poll.

Some Koreans believe there is a link between personality and blood type. I don't any of the specifics because I don't buy it. It would seem your boss is one of the ones who does. Anyway, there a whole theory about it.

So once a K-gal has eliminated all potential suitors with the same surname, wrong blood type, and her parents have eliminated all the ones they didn't like or who didn't work for the right company, who is left standing?

Come on, rapier, you've been here long enough....

The one with the most money, of course!

Looks aren't important here, because you can always have an affair with a good looking one later. Local cultural truth!

Well, I am fairly calm, but timid and delicate I'm not. If this is what my future director thinks, maybe that will give me an advantage Cool

Yeah my students are always asking me what my blood type is. It makes me laugh to know that they teach this garbage in schools. It's like if our teachers had taught us astrology during our science lessons. It's all bullpoop.

You're either married or exploring your celibate side.

No, just intelligent enough to realize that blood type has absolutely zero influence on your personality. If you believe this, then you too are a country bumpkin.
