Okay so here it is ,my employer wants to deduct 4% base tax on 2.1 Mil. salary, so I called the NTS just now and he told me that my tax rate is 1.6% and told me to have my employer call him and he will straighten him out. So if you wish to do the same the number is 02 397 1436 ask for Mr. Kim. Will let everyone know the outcome later. |

Is that 4% for only your income tax or is your take home 96% of your gross? There are other deductions on top of your actual income tax. My total withholdings are 3.5%. |

check out the website on the FAQ
Way too many people are being screwed over with 3, 4 and even 5% taxes when the reality is you only have to pay 2% or less depending on your wage.
I would bet that the excess tax money isnt going to the government either!
Salary of 2 mil taxes are 28,950
Boss taking 5% taxes 100,000
difference of 71,050
multiply by 12
equals 852,600
Fair chunk of cash in my opinion!
Stand up for yourself and only let them deduct the amount they are supposed to.
Deductions on your cheque should be: taxes(variable1.5-2.?%), pension 4.5%, health care 1.8%
So basically about 8% if you are having more taken off your check you are getting screwed! |

So here it is, I went to work today and we had our discussion about my income tax told them to call the NTS office when they were finished talking to MR. Kim they finally were in agreement with me . They had no idea they had been wrong all their years in business ( so they say) Everyone is now happy and I got my income tax reduced from 4% to 1.76% thankyou very much. Now remember I am talking about income tax not Pension or Health. The 1.76% includes the regional local tax of 10% . So my deduction from my 2.1 Mil. is 36,960 . Grotto is right stand up for yourself , worked for me. |

Does anyone have a link to some kind of chart which states how much tax you should pay based on your income? My monthly salary fluctuates a lot based on my overtime. |
