| Hey I was wondering if the DVDs from Canada work in South Korea or is it better off to buy DVDs from there. |

You'll need a region-free DVD player, which you can pick up in Yongsan. USA /Canada DVDs are region 1; Korean DVDs are region 3.
Your PC's DVD drive can have its region switched a maximum of five times.
I use the VideoLAN media player, which can play any region DVD without having to mess w/ your DVD drive. |

| What about a dvd hack? For mine, I just did a search, entered my dvd brand name, model number and you get a code to use with your remote. 2 minutes later, your dvd is region free... |

They DID answer your question... Canadian (Region 1) DVDs will obviously work in region-free players... so it depends on what you plan on using to play these DVDs.. |
