i just got my ipod w/ video. got it from the apple store in the coex - 350,000KW.
now i just have to figure out how to download videos on it? anyone know how to do that?

i'm fairly certain you'll have to change the formats of videos not purchased from itunes...

what's the deal with the apple website?
I wanted to get just the ipod with pics and i can't find it anywhere...
i have no interest in videos...seriously...why?
unless it would work as a divx player...THEN MAYBE...but then just get a stinkin divx player...

same price for both. why not just get the video? you can view pics on it. later if you want to put video on it you can.

exactly...unless you just prefer the older style, might as well get the newer version for the same price

HOWEVER, the apple store has a mark up of about 50 bucks...it's $299 american regularly...

but i also don't know about the duty free...is there a $50 refund at the airport?

tacon101, thanks for the recommendation. ilounge is amazing... it has everything you need.
i just ordered quicktime 7, so now hopefully i'll be able to reformat my videos for the ipod.
the photos on the ipod are amazingly clear and the transition styles are really cool - especially the cube.
