|
|
got a 40 gb laptop a couple of months ago and the last few days i have been receiving a message saying im running out of disk space (under 200mb) ... i just dont know why as there is hardly anything on the computer.
i have removed documents, programs etc but they are minor compared to 40 gigs
does this sound like a virus ? Ive done a scan and nothing
also for some reason i have a pop up blocker called mirar installed.... when i go to remove it from the 'remove programs menu' it just flashes alittle and doesnt uninstall
any advice - am i missing something simple ??

Norton was misreading the amount of free space you had- it's a known issue and just one more reason to ditch it. Make sure yuo've got a replacement like AVG or Avast, as well as Spybot S&D and a firewall.
Make sure your pc is back to reporting the correct space by running scan disk then defragging. |
