Why is it.....

...That where ever there is a mirror, you will see 25 Korean girls fighting for a spot in front of it?

The world may never know... Confused

I know I'm early on this one, but I didn't want to forget about it over the weekened...

aahh...if only it were just the girls...
and I'm ashamed to say that the longer I spend here, the more "mirror time" I indulge in (but when one looks as good as I...)

You're right, Lestat. This evening, as I was tucking in to my San gyop sal, a particularly gorgoeus K-girl was taking photos of her self with her cellphone, studying them intensely, as well as frequent trips to the bathroom to look at herself in the mirror (I could see her doing so from my table). I like vain girls.

Vanity here is taken to stupid extremes. Women in heels walking up mountains. Women with make-up on at the gym. The teachers at my school wouldn't go on the rides at lotteworld because they might get their hair messy. Aish. I like getting all dressed up, but there are times and places for that, and times and places to enjoy life and not worry about getting a hair out of place.

However there are some bonuses to the vanity. I get way more compliments when I'm wearing a nice outfit, or because I'm losing weight than I would back home. My passport photos will look great for the next five years. Nothing worse than getting your passport photo taken on the day a monster zit breaks out like my last set, unfourtantely, was. Koreans will happily air brush that out. Yah!
