If you don't get a response on here, you might contact Immigration. They would have a phone number. If that fails, the address is on the ARC. And if that fails, I'd say use the credit card before it's cancelled. |

So I read this.... clicked out...visited another thread....then it dawned. That is a seriously funny thing (ok, it's 4 am here...I'm giddy). What, exactly, did this driver think you could do? (maybe he's an undercover agent for the KuIA waiting for you to post on Dave's...).
How long did he have it? Was he holding for the 1/10,000th chance he'd get another obviously-not-Korean passenger? How trusting he is to presume you'd not-whatever....
Indian driver: Oh, you're black!
Black passenger: Yeah?
Id: A passenger left this (shows Bp wallet)
Bp: And?
Id: He's black too!
Bp: And?
Id: You should/could/may be able to know him.
Bd: And?
Id: Give it to him.
Bp: Sure......
And yes, I stereotyped my driver.
And?
How quirky, yet humourous.
!shoosh,

yeah, that's exactly it. apparently he thought, "hey, you're a foreigner. you take it." But it's not all that irrational, because being a foreigner, I know about this board, and maybe they guy will get his wallet back because of this place.
anyways, the name was Ben Koch. There was no ARC, just an Indiana Drivers License. Two of them, in fact. Maybe he's a GI, in which case he'll probably never read this. oh well. |

Why not mail it to the address on the license? Sure he's probably canceled all the credit cards and gotten a new license and everything. But it would sure make my fuckin month if somebody bothered to mail back my wallet that I lost in Korea. If I were you I wouldn't feel right just leaving it be. Just my 20W. |

If it contains more than 50,000 won, then I'm Brad Kochner.* Thanks.

I came back from vacation to discover my house was cleaned out. Except for these toothbrushes on the mantle... |
