Very good point.
And this is the board where posters keep saying that things like grammar and spelling don't matter. All of a sudden, Dave's posters want to see perfection. Yeah, yeah, I know she wrote for a newspaper column, but I still say it's better written than what a lot of posters write here. |

Well, that's to be expected. It certainly isn't common practice to print a picture in the op/ed section of a newspaper. |

That's cuz it's a message board. If I had to write an essay every time I posted an opinion, etc. I wouldn't be posting here. Her article was also edited by a native speaker, I can assure you. |

Government isn't going to do anything about the system for English Education, because they have bigger problems to worry about. Education department has bigger concerns with the running of Koreas universities, Highschools, Middleschools and elementry Schools.
Officials probably look at articles like this and say "So What!.Don't waste my time. The money involved in your industry is peanuts compared to the budget we have to oversee" |
