I got 10. So I assume anything lower than 10 means you are bad teacher.

Why do you assume so? Is your teaching on the borderline? Wink

I'm confident enough to admit I only got 2 boxes of Peperos. One from my co-teacher who gave one to every teacher (all 14 of us) and one from our 2-2 boys. However, the Peperos from the boys were BIG, AND they were delivered with a big bow. I think the bow makes up for the scarcity of total gifts. Smile And the box had a bow on it.

Hey, not only teachers get these. I got a total of five boxes. (Just two girls in the office.) Two were bound with a ribbon, and one was this really huge breadstick-sized set. Almost pornographic. No, it is pornographic.

I got 8 boxes and 12 of the individual ones (one 'porno' sized). Some came with bows, pompoms and a couple were even wrapped by the student!

Nearly every student brought in pepero today for the teachers and the wonjangnim. The cutest was a little boy and girl (2nd grade) who ran into the class too excited to wait, during the earlier class, each with a whole box of pepero for the teacher (me). I told them to wait until class time (about 15 min.) When they came in for class, each one had HALF of a box of pepero for the teacher. Laughing

We also gave large size pepero to every student, mother, grandmother and all the siblings who visited today.

I (in self-congratulatory mode) notice that no one else is reporting a bow to accompany their Pepero gifts. Not bow, bow.

I got a tall Hello Kitty box with 8 pepero and a nice pink bow on top. Wooha!

Out of about 90 students, I got approximately 7 boxes of pepero, 13 individually wrapped foot-longs, and one obese piece of blue candy.

My favorite was the "Woman in White", which was white chocolate pepero. Verah nass.

Q.

I'm sorry, Mr. Q, but are you claiming that a tall Hello Kitty box is the equal of a real bow? (Hello Kitty?...Hello WHO?)

I am NOT convinced yet that you are the winner of this year's Pepero contest. Can't do it.

I got 3. One box came from a little girl who wrote a note:

I like chocolate.
I love chocolate Chris teacher.
I buy chocolate for chocolate Chris teacher.
