Get your boss to visit http://www.immigration.go.kr/ . The popup window on the front page gives information about this process.

My boss told me about this and the Census at the same time. I had had the Census form for a few days but I figured it was due at the end of the year or something, but my boss was really upset that I hadn't turned it in. She told me about it on Wednesday and on Thursday when I got to school she said "Where is your Census form?" in a freaked out "Where is the antivenom?" kind of urgent voice. I said "oh actually it's here in my bag, funny you should ask" and she said "They are calling me! Why didn't you fill out the form! OK, you do it NOW and I'll drive back to your apartment and deliver it!" So I did.

You'd think they'd have put some English instructions on the thing if it was so urgent. Yes, they had an English form but there were no instructions about when or how to submit the forms. So anyway, my point was that Immigration is probably never going to give us instructions or tell us what they want, but we'll be expected to comply anyway. But then again they may not bother to enforce it when the time comes. They'll be too busy processing the interviews with the suckers who actually showed up.

I just filled out my Census form, now what do I do with it?
There is nothing on the form that says when or where, or at least not on
mine.

Thanks

My boss has informed me that I must verify my degree, and will give me the paperwork to do so tomorrow. Of course, they want me to do it on my own time. This probably means Saturday. I want to tell them to stick it up their ass if they refuse to drive me there.

Myself and the other 6 foreign teachers at my school all have to go to immigration to take care of this on Thursday. Our boss says that all foreign teachers in Korea are being required to do so! Then again, she often doesn't know what the *beep* she's talking about.

I don't have my original degree here. I'm hoping that the copy notarized by the Korean consulate will suffice. I'm not worried about it.

It strikes me that they're going through the high population areas first.
