If I buy an MP3 player from the States - such as iriver etc.... will I be able to use the charger in Korea?
Will I need to buy a convertor or just a new cord?
thanks

I thought most MP3 players get their charge from the USB port. I only buy MP3 players that run off of AA or AAA batteries. Tossing an old AAA rechargeable is a lot cheaper than having to get your internal battery replaced. The basic iRiver uses a AA. You are smart, however, to buy your mp3 player in the USA. You'll get no deals on Korean made electronics in Korea.

When I bought my ( purchased in Korea) iRiver back to Canada, all I needed was the plug adaptor to plug it in, just cost about 85 cents.

I don't think Creatives are available here, but browse on this site to get some idea of prices.

For that matter, if you see the model you want there, print out the page with specs and prices and bring it with you to Yongsan- it's a handy bargaining chip
