I guess this is a bit cheeky so I'll just come right out and say it ...

... is there any university teacher out there who wouldn't mind having a look at my resume and perhaps giving me a few tips as to how to get hired at their uni ??? ... maybe even putting my name forward if they thought I was a suitable candidate for their uni.

I've two years hogwon experience and a tefl ... and I'd be very appreciative if the job came through $$$$$$

I sympathize with you, but it's not like they are probably bothered left and right about it in person by every other stranger on the bus.

Then again, these days, 70 percent of the universities out there are not exactly much to write home about in either the pay or the hours/vacation department. Of course, I know a few on here are the lucky ones, but by and large, times are a changin'.
