Let me get this straight- Apple charged you all that money for a new HD and installation and didn't migrate the data and o/s over from your old HD?
Is that correct?  |

yup. but that was fine. i was ok with that. i agreed to that.
the problem was that i can't install using the install discs i borrowed since the install discs are for a computer that is newer than my own.
so i had my parents ship over my original discs. sigh. |
