Well i just learnt that the E2 visa holders at my college don't need to visit immigration because the school has a policy of writing letters to our unis asking them to confirm our degrees. The confirmations from our unis are then sent to immigration and mean that this trip to confirm our degrees are not needed. I am actually rather glad that my college does this as it shows some professionalism, but thinking of all the people who must go to Mokdong, it is telling of how few people in Korea actually check degrees.
