Anyone know where to find one of those worksheets that shows the inside of the mouth and the tongue to show correct mouth shape and tongue position when making different English sounds? I've seen it many times, but now I need one, and I can't find it anywhere. Thanks

The Korean Language Education Institute SNU textbook level 1 has one in the front pages. I enlarged it, lamenated it, and bring it along for phonics.

I don't think these links will provide you with exactly what you need, but you might find something useful on one of them.

http://literacy.kent.edu/Midwest/Materials/ndakota/soup/ (this one provides links to PDF files which seem to look the best - the last, or "Silent Letters" one seems like it's an updated or improved and combined version of the others and might be better for you - http://literacy.kent.edu/Midwest/Materials/ndakota/soup/silent_letters.pdf )

I typed out a paper monday that explains in detail the difference/similarities between: F and V, S and Z, and B and P, as well as how to say "th". I went over it with most of my classes, and it's been very successful with almost every student. They went from saying "joo" to "zoo" instantly. I had them saying "really leery" and "rarely lilly", almost perfectly.

If you'd like me to send you a copy of the file, just PM me your email address. Or I can post it here. It's all in Korean (translated by coworker, not me), so the kids can understand it easily.

Q.
