So, in 1980, you've got Brezhnev's troops in Afghanistan, the Ayatollah running Iran, etc etc, and the big priority for MK-ULTRA was assassinating JOHN LENNON?

Excellent. I've often thought this myself. It pisses me off when I see books and movies about serial killers. I wonder how the parents and family members of the slain victims feel to see their loved one's misfortune made into titillating entertainment. The public pore over the details of murder and torture with ghoulish fascination. All that is remembered is how these people died - not how they were once living breathing human beings like us.

Yes that idea about book/movie on victims is a good one. If you could pitch it Hollywood i bet it would be used.
