So the last time I was over in beijing, I got some cool jeans and assorted pants for dirt cheap.

Unfortunately though they all shrunk to nothing when I took them out of the wash at home. Has anyone had the same experience ?

What's good to get in beijing besides socks, runners and jeans ?
I'm a guy btw and I'm heading over to get my visa renewed.
Gonna stock up on some clothes for the winter as well while I'm there.

Any good beijing shopping experiences ... anything I could buy and then flog for cheap back in Korea ??

I bought a sweater at some GAP type shop and it got a little knobbly but thats workable.

As for cheap stuff you can flog, a friend mentioned that the Chinese pepper powder is much cheaper, and that lots of Koreans take the ferry over, buy several kilos and then sell it here at a profit. ( Hoping that "gochugaru" isn't a euphemism for something illegal)
