It's coming close to the end of the school year for me here and I've been making Certificates of Achievement for my students. I thought I would pass along some Certificate Makers where you just plug in the kids name, a sentence or two, and out pops a nice certificate. Maybe you have others to share as well?

go to microsofts office website and they have a number of templates for excel, word, & powerpoint that do that sort of thing.

Or even better get a copy of Microsoft Publisher and make anything you want easily. 100's of templates included with the program. Best piece of software ever made in my opinion.

Those teacher templates are great. Now I know where to go when I start teaching in the fall to set up a grade book and everything. Thanks for the hint!

Ugh! I wish I knew about that six months ago when I had to make graduation certificates for my kindies.

I think I ended up using a Publisher 2000 template, but of course there was a catch. My copy of Publisher is American and I couldn't input Korean letters into it using the IME. (And yet Word has no problem with it. WTF?) So I got clever and pasted the certificate format into Word as an image, and then I inserted text boxes in the right place over the certificate image so I could enter the students' names in Korean as my boss requested. The whole process was maddening, but the certificates looked pretty cool at least.

Anyway, that was quite the memory you jogged in me. Thanks for the tip.
