My wonj is making me take this class next Tuesday in Bucheon called etiquette for foreigners--something required twice a year. I looked at the hand out and it breaks down to 3 30 min sessions on Korean culture, classroom behavior, and something I didn't understand about immigration.
Has anyone else done this? What's it like? |

Ah yes....well I will guess it will be the same info as the gyeonggido public school seminar?...in any case it could be informative in a way if you are new to Korea, but a snore fest if you have been about for awhile.
Just remember...if you meet anyone who wants to be friends with you:
What's your agey?...How much money you one month making?...Did you marriagey? - Why you not marry?...etc...etc...
Personal questions are tolerated by Koreans....
Finally, sorry about your luck... |

I'm guessing they'll be teaching different spitting methods - as well as suggesting that you tie a toothbrush to a string in your bathroom for your guests to use. |

I was think more along the lines of learning how to properly spit in an ashtray and that Korea has four seasons. At least I get out of teaching kindy for a day. I'm actually looking forward to it now. |
