				| granted the leaves here actually change for autumn (i'm from the southern united states and well, pine trees just don't change) and the weather gets crisper (humidity is omnipresent)
but it's just not the same without family and old friends-heck i even miss the bickering that goes along with getting together

there's just a different feel over here...no holiday glow, no nonstop holiday jingles to drive you batty, no tree lots on the corners, and no SMELL of peppermint, gingerbread, spice, evergreen, and chimneys

...i'm getting someone in america to stock up on minty hershey's kisses for me...

not to start a pity party or anything, but surely i'm not the only one like this? any nice warm jives with fot apple cider and a fireplace in seoul?

				| thanks for reminding me of how much I miss a fireplace. There is something very enjoyable when watching the fire flicker. | |

Amen to that. I love that sound. I love the smell of wood burning. And outside when it smells like it's going to snow, but it never does. I really miss the stuff we'd do at church during Christmas. The caroling, going door-to-door delivering gift baskets to the elderly. This wonderful spiced orange tea drink that I still don't know what's in it other than Tang. Man that stuff is awesome.

Many people replace part of the sugar with pre-sweetened lemonade mix for an extra bit of flavor.
