You, Sir, have GOT to be kidding!!!

Cool

okay, try these from Costco:
Tim's Cascade Style Hot! Jalapeno Natural and Artificially Flavored Potato Chips

TRY them!! They'll burn your tongue and lips off, but mm-MM! them's good eats.

And they demand cold beer. They'll have their way with you.

They'll have their way with you!

I should trademark that.

Those crunchy, fried corn bits are quite good with beer.

Sidenote: I'm wary of any food that will 'Have its way with me', but nonetheless I'll give those Jalapeno chips a try.

I have an unopened 4-pound bag of pretzels from a local import store, looking for the perfect occasion to open it up.

Some friends over and a few brews might be the time to do it.

An old guy who ran a bar in Insadong explained to me how fried foods go with wine and fruit is for beer.... Confused He actually wouldn't let me order the kimchi chon with my beer. I didn't want fruit so he made me switch to dongdongju.

Tim's Sea Salt and Vinegar chips are tasty and they make you thirsty for more beer.

My favorite snack (mortals might call it a "meal") to go with beer (Corona and a quarter of a lime squeezed into the bottle) is a large plate of spicy pork tacos, soft home-made corn tortillas with cabbage, not lettuce, and a quart of fresh green salsa in a grungy plastic squeeze bottle...speaking of edibles with that trademark next-afternoon butt-burn...

Tim's make the best chips on the planet and while those aren't my favorite flavor, they beat anything else sold in Korea. I introduced them to the 12 other instructors at my uni. Big mistake-now when I go I have to buy about 15 bags-hardly leaves any room in the trunk for the 10 cases of beer. The cashier just looked at us like we were crazy, and she was probably right. 2 carts, 1 full of Tim's the other full of beer.

Anything that you cook yourself, over an honest-to-goodness fire (not a grill) while drinking. If a real fire can't be had, some sort of korean BBQ is almost as good. American BBQ is third on my list, because frankly I can't marinate or otherwise prepare the meat as well as the Korean restaurants.
