You may well be, khyber. But I envy you for it. A lot of foreigners in Korea come off as boasting about hating certain foods here, like it's some sort of medal of valour or mark of their "good taste" and "sophistication" being picky, finicky eaters. I've been around people like that and I say they suck. I'm disappointed when I try something new that I don't like, but I don't pride myself (which amounts to blaming & bashing the food and the Koreans) for it.

but...nachos...loaded to the nuts...like, at least 5 inches all told.
OR teriyaki chicken wings.

yum! (but I'm not eating meat these days, so can I just have the nuts and the chips? and maybe the teriyaki sauce drippings?)

ChimpumCallao says

[/quote] tequilla

Laughing classic..., I was thinking beef jerky is nice, then I read chicken wings so I was on the fence. However, after reading your answer I realized there is really only one answer Very Happy tequilla.

thanks for the smile

As for the first item, good grief, do you mean those bowls of sugary-sweet, multi-coloured, puffed cereal-looking things? ewww! I put those in the same category as the inimitable _fruit plate_.

*heh* I'm pretty sure that's what I had in mind. They're pretty good when
having beer for breakfast.

Sweet stuff (fruit or the crunchy sweet stuff usually served) DOESN'T go with beer! You need salty to make you want MORE beer!

I got so tired of the sweet snacks in my local watering hole that I bring a big bag of my OWN snack (pretzles, snack mix or goldfish from Costco) to keep behind the bar. I can munch and guzzle to my heart's content!

I'm a fan of hummus on a cracker with my beer. Preferably spicy hummus. Preferably a Zec cracker.
