No, this is NOT an "Alien" child. Rather it's a video of an infant affected by depleted uranium.

http://www.thatvideosite.com/view/942.html

Why do we hear so little of depleted uranium? One possibility is likely because the "good" guys have such a tough time giving their covert criminal operations a positive spin Shocked

Wow. You respond to a thread that has been dormant for 10 months. Do you really read that deep into this forum. What was it on? page 6? At first I thought Big Bird was back.

Why do we hear so little about it? An important question.

Could be largely because the TRUTH is NOT VERY PRETTY ... Shocked

Disturbing pictures. Viewer discretion strongly advised.

Depleted Uranium - Dirty Bombs, Dirty Missiles, Dirty Bullets
A Death Sentence Here And Abroad

By Leuren Moret
1-21-6

"Military men are just dumb stupid animals to be used as pawns in foreign policy."

Henry Kissinger, quoted in "Kiss the Boys Goodbye: How the United States Betrayed Its Own POW's in Vietnam"

Vietnam was a chemical war for oil, permanently contaminating large regions and countries downriver with Agent Orange, and environmentally the most devastating war in world history. But since 1991, the U.S. has staged four nuclear wars using depleted uranium weaponry, which, like Agent Orange, meets the U.S. government definition of Weapons of Mass Destruction. Vast regions in the Middle East and Central Asia have been permanently contaminated with radiation.

And what about our soldiers? Terry Jemison of the Department of Veterans Affairs reported this week to the American Free Press that "Gulf-era veterans" now on medical disability since 1991 number 518,739, with only 7,035 reported wounded in Iraq in that same 14-year period.

Ummm...Joo?

Do carry on about the neo-nazis, but...

Their sites are saying that DU causes cancer.

Does it, or does it not?

Are people suffering from the effects of DU, or are they not?

If so, how many? To what extent?

Why should anyone believe those sites? Those behind them want to destroy the US government. so they would not be above distorting or lying.

Those sites are nothing more than propaganda by an enemy.

DU is probably very bad. But probably not as bad as those who oppose US actions of the US in Iraq.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Depleted_uranium

But for some perhaps many of them it is just an issue to go after the US with. Those people have a different agenda.

These photos may make you cry.. Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

What makes me even sadder is that the last time I read about this in the British press was 2001. Western doctors working in Iraq confronted with hideous deformity on a regular basis. The article was trying to convey the horror of the consequences of DU being used in the gulf war. Why did the media never follow this up? Did the authorities lean on them?

The British and Americans have continued using DU despite knowing (unofficially of course) of the consequences. According to one estimate: 25% of new born babies in Afghanistan are now showing signs of exposure to uranium. The people who make those shortsighted and cynical decisions are at least as bad as the terrorists who make attacks on innocent citizens - probably far worse.

DU will remain in the environment for thousands and thousands of years. Generations will be affected.

Quote:
"If they had killed us once, it would not be so bad. But what the Americans have brought upon us is not only depriving us but our future generations of our basic god given human right, the right to live. They will be killing us for generations to come."
--an Afghan victim of US-UK bombing.

There are women in Iraq now who have decided never to have children after having seen what friends and relatives have given birth to. Imagine giving birth to a child like those in the photos. How utterly devastating. In fact many of them are so horribly deformed, they can not survive once outside the womb.

Oh the apathy of we humans. Why is there not a worldwide outcry? Because so many of us are people like Joo - refusing to accept the dreadful truth. Joo, could you stand by and remain silent if these were all American children? Where is your pity?

Big Bird.

What is the dreadful truth? I don't accept your source without question.

DU is bad but not as bad but probably not nearly as as the anti war movement says it it.

Nor should anyone accept ANYTHING without question. In case you weren't aware ( which in fact i assume you are ), this same rule applies to "dismissing" information merely because of it's publication source or origins as well.

Oh sure, however we all know if the arms dealers & munitions / weapons producers had their way, it would be gov't certified "ORGANIC and SAFE for daily consumption" Rolling Eyes

If a group has another motive then why ought to I accept what they say w/o question.

In the case of what BBird put up it is worth looking at it but it is not so good to be the anything near the last word on the subject.

No one should not take the word of them either. However they are probably a lot more truthful than Jeff Rense his supporters.

I know well enough that I'll never be able to convince you of a truth you'd prefer was false. There is a lot of information out there, if you choose to do your own research. However, I'm resigned to the fact that you'll never give much credence to it until you read about it in the New York Times.

Usually that is the case.

I don't have a lot of faith in biased sources , I am willing to read them , but I don't just take their word for it. I am just curious would you accept a report from the other side? I think you would view it with skepticism.
If it makes you feel better a lot people consider the NY Times to be a little on the liberal side.

All sources are biased in one way or another. There will always be different interpretions of anything. You are right to view any source of information with great scepticism. However, we should also take care not to ignore uncomfortable truths and sweep them under the carpet. Wink
