Van..my wife and I got a a return flight Busan to TO last time for 940 000 won....

Check out Northwest airlines (throught an agent).

Also, try to scoop up seat sales...there are a few out there.

Finally, it is nearly december...i.e. high season for travel. Contrary to popular belief here all agencies and airlines will raise their prices as they know many people need to travel during that period.

You want a deal...wait until after December...mid-January prices drop.

I find that it's ALWAYS cheaper to fly into Detroit than Toronto if coming from overseas.. (that and the fact that Detroit's Metro Airport is about 3 and a half hours closer than Pearson!)

I got it off of Whypaymore.co.kr

I would agree with that. Whenever I've gone back to Michigan.. I look at Chicago, Detroit, Toronto..

Chicago is usually the cheapest (but the farthest of the 3).. then Detroit, then Toronto.

That being said, once I flew from abroad into Toronto to get to Michigan.. but definetely the exception. (I believe that was from Jakarta).

Michigan/Ontario.. Detroit seems to be the cheapest.. and usually Northwest Airlines (the hub of that airliner). I always look at all Toronto AND Detroit (for getting to Michigan).. and Detroit is always the lowest airfare from Incheon.

New York City is the cheapest of all of them.. but you have to take a train from Manhattan to Buffalo (and across Ontario to your destination). I've also done that and if you have little luggage and a day or two to spare, not a bad option.

FWIW, Singapore on their web site are quoting Seoul-San Francisco at 860,000 - I was very surprised.

Going to Singapore in 2 weeks and ticket is about 500,000 plus tax of 103,000 KRW.

tourexpress.co.kr is showing fares for Seoul to Paris in 9/2006 to be as low as 735,000 won + tax (I am guessing about the tax part)

wow!

Yes, I did use an agent, or the company did. The price was similar on the Singapore Airlines website.

However, for January, I see this .....

Fare for 1 Adult: 696,000.00
Taxes & Fees: 88,400.00
Total Fare: KRW 784,400.00
