Ebonics?

Very little mention in the New Testament of alternative energy sources (unless I missed that part in Paul's letters to the Corinthians); but there's a lot of mention of false prophets fooling people with outrageous predictions.

As far as I know, Wm Branham didn't give a timeline for the events, but there is a supposed quote where he said to his son something about sharks swimming through LA before he would be an old man.

Some take this to mean that his prophecy has already failed. I personally don't know.

As for Branham turning to darkness, I have seen no evidence of this.

I know he has been accused of that by many, but usually the people who do this mis-quote what he said or don't even read what he said, and then make their assumtions based on false information.

I am not saying I agree with everything Branham said either. Some things he said really irk me. Other things seem right on the money to me.
I believe the man was sincere and honest. Whether or not he was deceived.......I can't say. I leave that one to God.

Peace.

I heard through people that Willy began to preach he was Christ. I don't know though, because I haven't followed his ministry. Would be interesting to know.

What about the Iraq war, Nazism or whatever? God has called Christians to reconcile man to God, himself and the environment. A part of reconcillation to the enviroment is bring technologies to help this world.

IE: my dad's company www.aqua-pure.com

Am I a false prophet because I believe in helping the environment?
Confused

There were supposedly some of his followers that started that idea.
He opposed it and said it was wrong right from day one.

I used to attend a church that was associated with Branham's message, and nobody that I know of thought of Branham as Christ. They did say he was a prophet and regard his sermons as equal to the Bible though.

That's something I had trouble with. I didn't like how people there always looked down their noses at other churches. I have to add though that the people I met were the most honest, hardworking, sincere Christians you'd ever want to meet. I can only speak for the one church that I attended though. I hear that there are some pretty strange beliefs circulating amongst some churches associated with Branham. The church I attended opposed those beliefs/practices .

Anyhoo, sorry to have highjacked your thread. It just seem relevant somehow.

peace.

No, those are some good thoughts. It's always good to judge the life of the prophet by visiting his church. I am now going to reseach a bit more into his life.

It is hard to discern what is true or what is right, because of the amount of critical ministries. For example, Benny Hinn. A lot of people hate this guy and have many negative things to say about him. However, I have heard good things about him too. My friend Christo who lives in India, has witnessed first hand the salvation of many people, because of Benny Hinn's ministry.

The thing I like about Kim is that he posts all his prophecies. Even the ones that haven't happened.

It looks like he has missed some major prophesies, but then he has made some pretty amazing ones too. I think that these next few years will really judge the accuracy of his ministry.

You know what, I don't generally do this, but for you I will.

Do you realize God is a God of terror and people like you will die in fear of His holiness if you don't repent and turn from your wickedness?

How will you escape judgment if you don't turn to Christ?

Here's a theological question: If heaven is full of people like you, will we still be able to call it "heaven"?

You will see the glory of God on the church in the end days. A part of that glory is financial blessing so that we can be a blessing to the poor.

So the poor dont get a financial blessing? Seems kind of stupid to leave them poor.

Yes you do...its like a broken record that just goes on and on and on et al.

Are you drunk again? In the other thread it was a god of mercy and love. You're just crazy...do you know that you are crazy?

Your major is in economics? Seriously, what part of this don't you understand....

A part of that glory is financial blessing so that we can be a blessing to the poor.

The church is called to bless the poor by giving and helping them.

God's eternal nature is love, but He is also a Holy God. His holiness cannot tolerate sin. His Holiness demands judgment of sin, but His love brings mercy. His mercy is Jesus Christ. His judgment is for disbelief. It's a paradox Grotto. God has made it that those who are His will come to the light, but those who do not love the truth will not come.

Um... if there were a christ, you might have a point. Or, if there is a christ, and he and his pops think that's a good way to do things, well, then let me burn rather than serve a master.

You know what EFL, with all due respect, you serve the things of this world.

For some people, it's lust,
for others, it's money,
for others it's power,
for others it is fear,
for others it is hatred,

I serve Christ, because He brings freedom. There is freedom in love.

When I gave my life to Christ, I was set free from the bondage of this world.

So now you speak for your god? Judge and jury now...Way to go Laughing Judge not lest ye yourself be judged. I hereby judge you and decree...NUTJOB!

I dont need a degree in economics to poke holes in your insanity....which church is your god going to bless? Why give money to the churches? Why not elimate poverty? So your all powerful god only cares about 'his' churches? Sounds like a selfish a-hole to me!
