Does anyone know of any Christmas celebrations that are happening? I have only been in Korea for three months and I haven't heard of anything happening for Christams dinner and I would really like to plan something.

| I went to a fab Christmas Party held by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce last weked, but would also be interested in one nearer to the big day itself. I know the hotels in Seoul sometimes have Christmas dinners. |

Yes, Gecko's Garden and Terrace is having a turkey buffet at 6pm on the 25th.

For gourmands who want to celebrate with an extra special meal, there are plenty to choose from that include wine pairings. The Colors of Wine dinner will pair 7 courses of gourmet cuisine with 8 different wines from 7 different countries on Friday, December 2 at Seasons. The 15th Cena dei Reali will take place at Il Ponte on Friday, November 18 and Saturday, November 19. Seasons will host the 41st Gourmet Circle on December 8, 9 and 10 (Thursday, Friday and Saturday). The 12th Imperial Feast will be cooking up a storm at Taipan on Thursday, December 22. These dining extravaganzas are the perfect way to enjoy the holidays with your loved ones. In addition, special Christmas Buffet or Holiday Set Menus will be made available at Cilantro, Orangerie, Oak Room, Genji, Il Ponte, Seasons and Taipan.
Areno will be hosting a Heavenly Christmas Party on Christmas Eve (December 24), and the popular Gold Mask Party on New Year��¯s Eve (December 31) will be the perfect venue for you to ring in the New Year with style!
The Oak Room will host a New Year��¯s Eve Countdown Party on December 31. Say farewell to 2005 and greet the new year with a bang at this special bash!

Hi.
"DDD" the free, bilingual, cross-cultural magazine will have an Xmas Eve pot luck party in Hongdae at Club Aura.
Saturday night Dec 24th. Food starts at 7pm and live fusion dance band at 9. 3000won (3 bucks) admission is for the band Tabula Rosa-- They always get the place moving... And the food is free as long as it lasts
Guests can cook something if they want to get involved.
The "DDD" parties are not the usual suspect happenings of Itaweon. The Urban crowd is eclectic and usually 50/50 Korean foreinger.
