Their garlic bread is awesome. Not the crap that sits out all day. It's in a half loaf and the butter and garlic are baked in or something. I ate a whole bag once without realizing it. It's so freaking good when it's toasted. I wonder if they still sell it. |

They've actually been doing some cool stuff with bread. They have pumpkin bread, rye and black rice bread at the one in my building.
Korea has almost arrived! Now, if they would just put some handles on those damn brooms... |

Was is Paris Croissant or Paris Baguette... can't remember which, but they started sprinkling sugar on their garlic bread, and I could never get the old (regular) kind so I just gave up on them. I don't like sweet garlic bread. |

They don't put sugar on this. It's in a bag on the shelf with the other types of bread. |

Indeed it has. The two little bakeries in my little town even have banana bread in banana shapes. Neither product is very bananay in taste, but I'm sure someone out there makes decent banana bread.
I'd kill for some of that pumpkin bread that was mentioned. |

It's coming around all right. The other day, my neighbor and I found sweetened condensed milk at HomePlus. Now, if they would only start carrying vanilla...

Yeah. Me. Maybe I should go into business. I could give periwinkle some competition. |

I meant commercially produce it.
I think my banana bread is pretty darn superior. Since you mentioned competition, maybe we should arrange a Dave's Annual Bake Off for us waygookins with ovens. Consider yourself challenged.
I do have a banana question. Have you ever figured out what to do with all the left over bananas? I have to buy bunches of like 13 bananas. I can eat a couple and bake 4-6 in bread, but that still leaves me with about 7 to turn black on the kitchn counter and produce those pesky little flies. |

or banana pudding.
If you do decide on banana pudding, let me know. I haven't had that in years. |

Peel them first, it's a pain to do it when they're frozen...literally. Put 'em in a bag and save 'em for a rainy day.
There is a great bakery in COEX that has yummy kraftkorn bread, as well as pumpkin. They also have tiny, little cans of Canada Dry. Oh, ginger ale and root beer... |

Once again the internet justifies its existence.
Peeled bananas in the freezer. Thanks folks.
Funny you should mention banana pudding. I was thinking of looking up a recipe for that just the other day. If I had graham crackers, I'd make a banana cream pie. Hmmm...maybe those fake vanilla wafers would substitute (egg cookies I think they're called...little yellow chickens on the box). Hmmm...I smell a weekend project coming up. |
