This should be of interest to some people...

http://nsep.aed.org/NFLI-language.html#korean

Hawaii for a year (or LA, I guess, but blech) and then back in Korea a year, to study, all paid? Seems pretty nice...

It's very tempting...but involves a certain amount of selling out (not putting others down who would do this, just saying that it would go against some of my own values).

I would do Chinese, too...but the stateside options suck! Utah or Ohio? Neither, thanks!

Don't apply for the CIA, they are a bunch of bureaucratic shmucks. I've known people who worked for them. They are no more organized than any other government agency.

Try the Army. They give a $20,000 starting bonus for linguists, you get to study in the best language school in the world, and they let you shoot guns. Oh, and chicks dig the uniform.
