Anyone want to play a game? It's the six degrees of Kevin Bacon, but the rule is that you can't use Kevin Bacon because he's been in everything with everybody.

Here's how it's played...I name 2 actors/actresses....we'll see who can connect them in the shortest number of steps. the winner after..6 hours? 12 hours? gets to choose the next pair. Probably 12 hours for this one, or whenever I check it on Monday morning.

It'll look like this....

Kevin Costner <-> Matthew Perry

Your answer should/could be.....Kevin Costner - Robin Hood - Alan Rickman - Die Hard - Bruce Willis - The Whole Nine Yards - Matthew Perry....

So that answer would have 4 links...

You try to do the shortest number of steps the quickest. If two people tie, then it's whoever posted first. It'd be best if you didn't use the internet to find it unless you're stuck or you know that you can't beat the person who has the shortest, but people will be people, so win however you can.

sorry, my answer was bad, so i removed it. but still want to see what others can come up with. it's a good game to play, especially if you're stuck on a bus with no better mental stimulus than the korean gameshow being played on the t.v. in the front with actors you've never seen before. :p

Wow. I just tried that site using someone I was sure would give me a fairly high number: Sophia Loren. Guess what? She had a KBN of TWO!!

EDIT: WTF? When I tried the BN, it drew a blank. When I tried it with the star link, he got a BN of TWO. Hmmm...

OK, but I found another, but not a star. Since I can't find mention of ehr ANYWHERE, I'm going to have to contact home and see what's up. Anyways, my aunt, Sheila, was an actress and did a few small movies and such. But she's got no connection to Kev. Razz

k, I may be wrong, but I always thought you actually ARE supposed to use Kevin Bacon? You are supposed to start with 2 different actors/actresses, but are supposed to pass through a movie that has Kevin Bacon in it. (hence his name in the title of the game).
That would make it more challenging too.

OK, I was being really stupid with my aunt. Her name is Erin. But give me a break, there were eight of 'em on that side of the family!!

Turns out, she has a BN of TWO. How disappointing. If an actress *that* obscure has a BN of two... how in the world do you find one with a BN of 7 or 8?

As for the game... I can never remember the names of the cast members in movies, so will leave that to others.
