You wish to continue despite my wishes. Why will you not respect the fact that I do not want this to be part of the argument. I have said these things in the past, but why are they relevent to this discussion? Why must you continue to muck rake?

Your personal life did not come up in this thread until you, sir---and no one else---referred to it.

Yes, I know it all started several weeks ago when I offended you by questioning, in a vulgar fashion, your motives for converting. You took offence, called me on it, and I apologized...immediately, openly, and via PM as well. Indeed, your calling me on it actually raised you up in my esteem. I took you for the bigger man, if nothing else. In other words, you earned my respect.

There I thought the matter closed.

But now look. You bring it up again...on your own. No one forced it on you. You used the issue as ammo in a swipe at me. That I can deal with. But what I cannot respect is you, sir, rubbing the salt in your own wound and then having the chutzpah to vent on the rest of us for...bringing up your personal life.

He converted to Islam when he married his wife, as in Islam, it is forbidden for a non-muslim man to marry a muslim woman. In many muslim countries, it is actually illegal.

Oh no, I was out of line with what I had said several weeks ago. And Jag was right to call me on it. But the problem here is he's bringing it up again and crying foul when it is discussed.
