If I order sealed transcripts from my university, I can do it 2 ways. I can have them sent directly to somewhere, or have them sent to me. If they are sent to me, they are sealed, but stamped, ISSUED TO STUDENT.
Do you think immigration would accept them if I got several of them sent this way, and I kept them sealed, or would they need to be sent directly to immigration from my univ? Here is what my university says they can do:
We can mail transcripts to you or to any address that you provide. All transcripts that are picked up in our office OR sent directly to you are marked ISSUED TO STUDENT. All transcripts that are issued to student are put in separate sealed envelopes with the Registrars signature across the back flap of the envelope. (If you order 10 transcripts you will receive 10 separate envelopes.) The separate envelopes will be placed inside a larger manila envelope. If you have additional questions, you may contact our office at....
Many institutions will not accept transcripts marked ISSUED TO STUDENT and require official transcripts to be mailed directly by the Office of the Registrar. [/list] |
