They wrote one of my all time fav lyrics...
"Mexican-Americans, go to night school,
study Spanish,
and get a 'B'!!!"
My Mexican-American friend here in Seoul confirms that's absolutely true. |

I inherited this album from a cousin when I was 9 or so...
Being a drug-free 9 yr old, my favorite was Cheborneck.
"Taste like dogshit?"
"Yeah, [gags & retches ] tastes like dogshit."
"Good thing we don't step in it!"
"Yeah, good thing [gags]." |

'This is KWRP (?) comin' to ya LIVE from the basement of the science building, and we have a special guest with us today. Mr T!
'Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.'
'Hey, Mr. T, thanks for coming to talk with us, man.'
'Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.'
'Yeah, so hey, um, Mr. T, how's it goin' with the A-Team, huh?'
'Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.'
'Right, so um, you got any future plans or anythin' coomin' up, man?'
'Rrr..-- I can't do that no more, man, my throat hurts.'
'Whoa-ho, um, what? Mr.T, you gotta go? Ok, man, well, take care...' |

Up In Smoke was the first I saw of the duo. A friend's mom took us to see
it. Double feature with Used Cars. Also pretty funny.
I was in first year high school at the time fer fuxsakes. Corrupted me forever. |

Hey, ever use "Dave's not here" as a lesson?
I've done it with a few different classes, depending on the group, it can be a blast. |

It is a small world... I figured a metnion of Cheech and Chong would go over about as asking if you know who Grand Funk Railroad was. I've never met anyone under say, 35 now, that knows who they are.... |

You'd be surprised. You're never too young to appreciate good music --although I'm a bit worried about teenagers nowadays, especially the Korean ones. |

I'm 32 and love Grand Funk - Don Brewer rocks! I remember a Simpsons bit where Homer is driving Bart, Milhouse and the "Hah-hah!" kid to school and he's listening to Grand Funk on the radio, and the kids don't like it. He ends up giving a synopsis of the band to Bart's mounting embarrassment.
'Mark Says Alright' still gets me tapping my foot and playing 'air base(sp)'... |
