Yesterday I consumed,

Large home-brewed espresso and two cigarettes for breakfast.
Dak-tory-tang, rice and cucumber for lunch.
Sam-gyup-sal and soju for dinner (yummy!).

That's it. I almost never snack.

Just curious. Be as exact as possible. Include drinks.

Me:
A bit over a litre of milk
A thing of bread
A thing of yogurt
Half a small baguette + cheese
400 mL of V8
Seven bananas
Mapadubu rice (the Chinese tofu tasty sauce rice)
142 g of lettuce for midnight snack
Five cups of coffee

Exactly 142g of lettuce, eh?

Beat me to it.

Ain't nothing can stave off those late-night munchies like a big heaping bowl of lettuce. Nummy! (Did you at least put some Italian dressing on it, Mith? Please tell me you didn't eat it raw.)

Yeah, I always eat lettuce raw. This time the lettuce I bought at the store weighed 142 grams according to the sticker so that's what it was. I hate dressing.

People here eat better than I expected. That's good to see.

Wouldn't 'naked' be a better term than 'raw' for lettuce without dressing? I suspect the Guru is getting increasingly prudish. He probably puts doilies and things around table legs...uhh, er..limbs. I said limbs.

Not too much, yet...

To-seu-teu.. (the egg/ham/cheese with kiwi sauce kind, from Anyang Station... the best)
and
About 2-3 cups of that crappy machine coffee ya buy on subway platforms.
and
Some of the finest kimchi jjigae ever made by a mere mortal.

Dinner is entirely dependant upon the whims of my gf... Probably that lemon-y tasting Vietnamese soup at that Pho Bay place in Hongdae, though.

I just had two ham and cheese sandwiches with mustard pickles for lunch.

Might have some salt and vinegar chips too.

No dressing = Undressed = Naked. Okay, I'll go along with that. There is, of course, the informal usage, "in the raw", for buck-arsed nekkid, but no, I wasn't going after that. Wasn't being prudish, either -- just didn't occur to call it "naked lettuce" or "naked salad". Though we do have "Naked Lunch", so perhaps "Naked Munchies" might've worked.

No, doilies belong on the table, not under it. And "table legs"? That's what you call them? Weird. We've always called them "table penises".

But anyway, get a load of that Mith, huh!? Claims he hates salad dressing. Now I'll accept that some people might not like some dressings, but who hates them all? Mith does. That's who. So, Mith, how about BBQ sauce, hot sauce, gravy, syrup, condiments in a sandwich, salt & pepper? They all suck, I bet. Right? Smile

I'll admit to disliking most, if not all salad dressings, as well as to loathing mayo, honey mustard and ketchup (ingredients in many of the dressings found locally). I like the way vegies taste and don't need to disguise their flavours. I hate gravy too.

I had tortillas with fried peppers and onions for breakfast/lunch and tortillas with sauteed ginger cabbage for dinner. Coffee (x 2) for breakfast. Hot water with lime (x 3), will prolly have some cola soon.

Btw, where are people getting salt and vinegar chips?

I am still hung up on Mith's 7 bananas. He won't have to worry about leg cramps, but my god, man, aren't you consumed with an overwhelming urge to scratch your sides and say, "Ook! Ook!"?

"table penises".

This is just not believable. I'm sorry to out you this way, but I do think we have a case of doilies around the table legs fetish here.

Lettuce isn't really healthy. In fact, it has pretty much no food value at all. Just a warning to those who are on, or who may want to go on, a diet.

Today, I had a cup of dokpoki, breaded chicken balls on a stick with that mildly spicy sauce, four slices of pizza, 3 small cups of Pepsi, 3 cups of coffee, and... that's it.
