Well, native speakers or foreigners are very wealthy and highly respected just like doctors and lawyers. Foreigners can easily afford to volunteer. Besides, Koreans are very famous for doing volunteer work and donating. "When in Rome..."

But foreigners aren't diligent - they're lazy and just here to date (eh hem) Korean girls - right? Besides foreigners should be so grateful for living in the greatest country in the world, they should be happy to work for free. TAEHANMINGUK Give me a break Rolling Eyes

Even as a volunteer, do you have to get this on your ARC to be legal? Or get an E2 visa if you don't have one?

Some of the diplomats and permanent residents would be legal though.

It might be a really good thing if immigration busted this place and arrested a bunch of volunteer teachers who were technically illegal doing a good deed.

From what I know, if immigartion "raids" the place it's up to you to prove that you are working for free. How that can be done. Dunno.

I like how even though they are asking for volunteers they want to know your nationality and gender.

We've discussed this before...really, I don't know the answer. Is it legal to work outside your workplace for free?
