Sorry dufus it is illegal for them to deduct anything from your cheque(pesky English spelling again) other than tax, pension, and health care.

You cannot agree to illegal clauses...do you understand?

The law, which I have quoted for you now a few times, (Article 42a) quite clearly says that unilateral deductions are limited to what the law dictates must be deducted. In the case of most people, this means tax and pension deductions. All other deductions must be agreed to by both parties for them to be legal, and those agreed-to deductions can be for any reason towards any goal.

Health care deductions are an agreed-to payment and are no different than any other agreed to deduction, such as a security deposit on housing. You can't argue that health care is an acceptable deduction and deposits are not when they are the same thing before the law.

While you are on the subject of cheques, you might not want to insult people over their localized spelling of it when your grammar isn't up to the task. That, and the Labor Standards Act lists that unless otherwise agreed to, cash is how people are to be paid. Ironically, the same law article that says any agreed-to deduction is lawful is the same article which would allow a person to be paid by cheque.

Grotto, you know you don't have a leg to stand on. I don't know why you keep up with the name calling and the insults. Does it make you feel like a big man? (Sorry, no pun intended!)

You continually cite my not posting back-to-back-to-back as an oddity when it's been pretty much that way since day 1. I average pretty much a post a day.

Though I couldn't recall any ass-kicking from you... ever. But in the last thread, let's take a look at your "command (of) and expertise of (sic) English":

http://www.eslcafe.com/forums/korea/viewtopic.php?t=48716&start=15

Much like here, at the end you abandoned most of what you were saying and just tossed out grammatically poor and uninspired insults.

Look at your last post.

- You are relying on poor insults rather than supporting your earlier stated positions.
- You are not denying that you were caught on lying about living with your boss (claimed it was your own house), lying about your wage (inflated), and that you took up-skirt pictures of your students and then said you would show everyone else they misbehaved (which after you defended for several posts, you went on a mad dash deleting everything you wrote but luckily was saved in the quotes of others).
- And you claim you are an English master who can teach better English than non-native speakers yet can't do a grammatically correct paragraph to save your life, all while no one else supports such a curious and obviously untrue statement.

And so on...

And you claim I was the ass-kicking victim? What a curious conclusion to have reached based on the evidence presented. I can hardly wait until the next thread and you falsely claim that there was much ass-kicking delivered by you unto me in this thread.

Grotto and Gord,

Why not take your private quarrel to pm rather than hi-jack the OP's thread?
