My school wants me to plan a remedial course for 18 students who are going from grade 3 middle school to our high school and have poor English listening skills. While it would be more fun to work with the brighter kids this is probably a very good idea. However I'm a bit stuck as to how to fill up two weeks worth of 45-50 minute daily lessons. The students will be the ones who are more anonymous in class and I think it will be a challenge to get them participating. I'd like to balance fun stuff with things that are a little bit challenging. Any ideas from anyone who's done this sort of thing before would be much appreciated!
