Could anyone recommend a Korean language learning kit (specifially one with an audio component)? I'm a complete beginner (save for some perusal of phrasebooks and such) looking for a very basic guide to pronounciation and such to help me through everyday situations.
I should add that I am not currently in Korea but am planning to be there for June-ish.
Thanks! |

Survival Korean by Steven Revere.
If you have greater ambitions than everyday survival, try starting with Elementary Korean by Ross King. Get the 2004 edition with audio CD.
http://langintro.com/kintro/index.htm will get you reading right quick and teach some useful phrases while you wait for whatever book you pick. |
