Care package from my stepmom. Best thing in it was the magazines (now that I'm married, she sent me "Redbook" and "Good Housekeeping"- I guess I'm officially an ajumma Surprised ).

She also gave me some Irish stuff so I "don't forget my roots". Unfortunately the "Cead mi failte" plaque doesn't go with my Asian decor...

I opened some more gifts, and here's the best and the worst:

A t-shirt, bearing the words "I APPRECIATE THE MUPPETS ON A MUCH DEEPER LEVEL THAN YOU DO" My avatar speaks for itself.

Soft leather cashmere-lined gloves. I'm a vegetarian (have been for the last 11 years) and just touching them creeps me out.

I must say I am tremendously jealous of Riley for the opportunity to watch Firefly fresh (I've got the whole series half memorized) and to Kermo for that SHIRT! OMG!

Not that I didn't get good stuff, but boy oh boy. Lucky you.
