I like several things about my (group) office, but undoubtedly the best thing is that it is so cold in here that mold can't grow in my miracle-bleeding tea cup, so I don't have to wash it.

What ONE thing do you like best about your office?

That it's part of the "English Zone" at my school. Complete with a big screen tv, DVD player, and couch.

Too bad the new XBox 360 doesn't come out till Feb. here in Korea, or I know what I'd be doing during my downtime when I have to be at school during winter vacation.

The wind chimes in the hallway outside my office that chime whenever someone is within 10 meters of my door - heads up.

The free floor show from the various screaming matches that happen between the korean teachers at my school at least once a week.

Oooh yeah that's good here too - there was quite a nasty food fight between the gym and math teachers yesterday. Seriously!

The fact that it doesn't matter my computer is a pentium 3 because I don't do anything but play cheesy online computer games and surf the net.

PS

I do all my lesson plans at home.

No food fights here so far, but the 4 screaming matches between the Vice Principal and 3 different teachers have been highly entertaining. A definite plus over the lonely solo offices.

My office is one of the best things about my job.

I have plenty of windows, and, being on the backside of the building, they open onto the woods and a rocky drop to the road. I've seen beautiful wild pheasant climbing around the hillside while I'm at my computer.

My computer is brand new. There is also a television with BBC on cable.

My office contains three desks- a computer desk, my desk and my assistant's desk, a conference table, six chairs for that, a couch, three huge bookcases, and a sink area (with a towel rack for those towel gifts that come around a few times a year to commemorate something or other). And it is not a bit crowded. Even with over a dozen plants.

I love my office. Cool

Nothing.

I am actually sitting amazed right now because I just looked around, reflected, looked around some more and concluded:

Nothing.

Nothing good, nothing bad, just: eh. Does that suck or not?

Listening to news of DVD players, foresty window scenes(mmm...pheasant) and single occupancy offices, I am leaning toward: sucks.

Ah, not exactly in the office, but I have learned that the practice of removing one's outside shoes for a pair of indoor slippers, which I once found novel, is no longer novel as I scurry through our unheated Decemberish hallways...

Nothing. It's as boring as fuvk. I am in a completely different building to the rest of the teachers and barely see a soul.

It's my office, with a bathroom (no shower), and a great view.
