It's good. A bit too personal for anyone to appreciate it while in Korea. Been there, done that, said that kinda thing. It's good for someone outside Korea to see.

Like myself, it's difficult to refrain from dialouge...or babble, actually. Good to perhaps list things (what the items are), but too much personal chatter. I'm the same...I think all my utterings are witty and worthwhile. They are always what I end up regretting in my videos.

And yes...too long to wind up. Babies wearing food is too universal.

Anyways, good job brother! I await your second effort. Do a 6-month video as well. Your church looks nice...good to get involved in the Christian community as soon as possible...family is everywhere!

Wow...you guys are tough.

I loved the intro with fraggle rock and the kids.

The church shot with the song "standing in the place of prayer" They do such a bad song...I thought it was funny.

The shopping episode was interrupted by that guy. You didn't think that guy was hilarious???

A spielberg I am not.

Oh well, it was just video to send home to friends and family I guess I should have said that from the beginning....sorry about that.

Thanks though, something to think about on my next foray into the movie making.

Andrew

It was a good try. Composing the shots in a film and editing video is really hard. We're all so used to seeing slickly produced product that anything less is really hard to pull off.

I made a film with a few friends a while ago and we spent a shiteload of time editing it. It was a really challenging project.

On an editioral type note it would have been better to focus more on the subject 'Korea' than seemingly random shopping trips. Surely yuo don't spend all your time in Korea shopping, looking after orphans and working!

I think your video would benefit from you producing a timeline, it is really importand to structure time in a video. You need to be really focused on timing. A storyboard type thing is very useful.

Some more pictures would have been better, I liked the bit toward the end where you show pics of places. If you don't have a budget to work with a still picture can convey a powerful impression.

Also the use of music is incredibly important in setting the tone of a video piece. To be frank I thought the music choices were a bit weird. If it's a first time effort then fair enough, putting a half decent amateur video together is very hard work.

Don't give up on the movie making, with practice you may produce something great.
