What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Unfortunately, this is bull. What doesn't kill you, doesn't kill you. Some get stronger, some get weaker, some don't change. My point? What will the world look like post-Dumbya?

Will the world be stronger because he has brought into absolutely clear focus the dangers of losing yourself in the pursuit of "justice" and "freedom?" Will the world survive the ravages of climate change that occur in part because of the refusal to see the obvious, and worse, the refusal to do anythig once the obvious was truly plain to all? Will the world survive the massive economic burden of the war in Iraq? Wartime spending ALWAYS boosts the economy. But the Piper still plays and he demands payment in full. He calls his markers at a place and time in th future, not the present. How will the world deal with massive infrastucture damage and/or protection from ecological disasters at a time when the US economy can do little more than pay the debts of the scumbag currently in the White House?

Look ye to the past. Look ye to the times of old when debt and grandiose dreams lulled empires to sleep. Look ye at the babes in your arms and know that their hell will slowly go by.

Our world will go on as it has always gone on, just as it has for the last twelve thousand years or so of civilization, where we have seen many problematic rulers come and go.

In the future, W. Bush won't even be a t-shirt. And what the hell are you going to do if the Democrats get the White House back, but the U.S. stays in Iraq, by the way? You're working yourself up to a breakdown or a seizure or worse. You're way to W. Bush-centric in thought and analysis.

Anyway, W. Bush represents barely a blip in the bigger picture of human civilization, if he is noticable at all. So calm down. Have a martini and relax. And stop talking biblically.
