Love has different levels. It's subjective.
You should ask about true love (i.e. giving up everything for that person). I'm in love right now, but i'm not totally there yet if that makes any sense. |

I understand what you mean. I gave up a very prosperous and fullfilling life and career for my wife. Now I am.....here.
She is worth it though, every waking minute, hence my decision to leave. |

I remember my first "puppy love" - way back in middle school.
As for being in love, I'd like to think I am in love with my wife...I love her more each day, despite the adjuma disease's effect on her. |

Yeah being 'in love' really does exist but exists in different degrees. I have been 'in love' with 3 people in my life but each to different degrees and for very different reasons.
My first love was a scummy skater punk boy who stunk really bad and didn't get out of bed till 3 in the afternoon......a clear example of how love works in mysterious ways. |

Love at first sight, age 13.
Nothing ever happened but I still get weak at the knees when I see him. |

Love on all levels, got it right now and never looking back.
However if I were to do so, I'd say grade 8, in total awe of this stunning natural beauty who's as allergy-ridden, intellingent, humble, and witty as my present fiancee. My preferences never really changed. They both also come from great families.
As a side note, I'm still in contact with that girl, who's quite the world traveller, and who also snagged a Newfie! Life is veddy strangey. |
