BTW, I didn't see it last year, but was Chris Rock a disappointment? Why wasn't he asked to host again?

I didnt see last year either..
but I think he said no to hosting it again.. but he did say he would like to host it agian one day in the future..
john stewart might be ok.. still no one beats billy.. he is the bob hope of our time.. |

Nothing good can come of this.
If he does a great job, people will just say "yeah, we already knew he was good". But if he stuffs it up people will say "guess he wasn't as good as we thought he was". |

If he brings his writers along with him, he'll do a great job.
I'm not a Billy Crystal fan and have been mourning Bob Hope for years. I'm not fully convinced the Oscars are even legitimate if Bob isn't the host. |

| Jon Stewart is very quick-witted and personable and should do a great job. Chris Rock, though often funny, is a boorish jerk, in my opinion; and he reportedly offended a number of celebrities in attendance last year. Billy Crystal is a natural, seasoned comic with some classy schtick (and he did a great job making that HBO film, 61, about the Maris-Mantle-Ruth home run record chase...) Whoopie Goldberg should stick to playing musical nuns... Bob Hope, of course, will long be remembered as a great comic legend, entertainer of troops, and celebrity golfer ... |

They should get Eddie Murphy to host it sometime.
I also think Mim Carey would be an excellent host.
I don't know what woman (new) could host it. Ellen Delesbious? |
