It would be nice to see England win it. I'm not from England, but it would be kind of neat.

If the US won it... That would be pretty cool, too. I'm from Canada.

I have no idea who's going to win.

I'm going to predict that England will.

I'm hoping Korea, Brazil or Holland plays host Germany in the final and KILL the Germans on their home turf. I've watched the 1974 final between Holland and Germany, and the Germans got away with so much.

Korea haven't got a fart's chance in the wind of winning the World Cup. You must either be a Korean/Kyopo or an American with no idea about football to say such a thing. Still hurting from that semi-final defeat of four years ago are we....? Laughing

Got a sneaky feeling that Holland might do it this year, pretty decent team. Although I`m English I`ve always liked the Germans, fighting spirit like us, respect to them. Gonna put a tenner on the Dutch, watch this space ( I want any percentage on any winnings from my prediction Very Happy ).

England probably lose on penalties again, and Beckham sent off and wait another year till three lions on me shirt comes back on, still believe in them though.

If Davyteacher says the Dutch then I'm going with his predictive powers and putting my ee-man-won on them.......somehow though...I don't think so. They don't have the belief.

My outsider bet is....wait for it....Engerland!! They can do it. They have a good enough team. The usual suspects are not so special this year (well, ok, Brazil is, and they will probably win but I'm holding out for a fairytale.)

Korea will do their usual away from home performance.

Brazil will win!! Way too skilled and too talented. Everyone's picking Brazil to run away with the World Cup (unless you're English or Dutch), but I'm most intrigued by Argentina.
But I still believe the Argentines are a bit overlooked. They don't have as much raw talent as the Brazilians, but they may be better as a unit and better coached. Of course, I say this just to be contrary. You'd have to be an idiot not to be dazzled by this Brazilian team.
At that point, soccer fans everywhere can start salivating over a possible Brazil-Argentina final.
S Korea a Finalist??? No way, not in this life time!!
Team USA, not going to be so lucky.

Brazil wins!

I said I'm hoping, NOT predicting. I'll root for Korea but as long as the Brits or Germans lose, I'll be happy.
