How about dumping a bunch of washing-up liquid in a massive(!!) tank and knocking out millions of won of exotic fish...because you thought it would be fun to give them a bath? No, I didn't do it, but the niece and nephew of a Korean I know did. Bubblicious fishes. |

The children or the fish? I never met the kids, but I suppose very young. Under 10? It was at a restaurant here that was famous for its giant fishtank that wrapped around the dining hall. This isn't to be confused with the seafood restaurants that have a tank or two of scummy water with your dinner lying flaccid on the bottom. This was a proper aquarium and it was incredibly long, tall, well decorated, well lit, and well stocked.
I went there after it happened, and it was strange to see the aquarium dark, the pumps and lights off. The waiter told me the tragic news. He said the owner wasn't especially torn up about the fish -- I guess when you have that many, you don't get that attached to individual ones -- but the financial loss, which was obviously nightmarsh. |
