Hey,

I've got a problem. I'm a scrawny guy from Canada who has never had a problem with sweating....usually. Even in the summer, I rarely break a sweat on my body. I wear anti-perspirant...works great. However, when I lived in Korea, I was constantly sweating from my underarm region only. I'd practically use a whole bottle of anti-perspirant to no avail. I could be freezing my butt off in the winter in Korea or China, and still get this problem. Had stains on the underarms of my t-shirts for the first time in my life! Gross!

Anyway, then I'd go back to Canada in the summer and, in a week or two...no more sweat...this happened each of the two years I was in Korea.

So, after a year of university back in Canada (sweat free I might add) I moved to Southern China...sure enough...sweat comes back, but again, only from my pits...no matter how much anti-perspirant I use!

Anyway, I'm in Canada at the moment, and am moving to Hong Kong in a couple of weeks. I'm trying to tackle my sweat issue before I go because chances are, the problem will return. Any suggestions on a SUPER anti-perspirant? I should also mention that when I was in Korea and China I ate the local food, so my diet is very different from Canada to Korea/China. Could MSG be a culprit? Although, I know that the western diet is full of MSG too.

Anyway, has anyone else had this problem? I mentioned it to my family doctor in Canada, but I think he thought I was a freak. Please help me!!

It could be the close proximity to too much polyester. Try and wear natural fibres.

This is what happens when you reach puberty. I'm afraid you're just going to have to get used to it! It's not so bad though, you meet the right girl and she'll find your pheromones smell "manly".

Have you tried Old Spice? I found it very helpful.
