My fiance is writing the GRE general test this month, and needs some help with the math part.
Do any of you know of an institute that offers a program to prepare for the maths section that is offered in English?
He has sent several emails to The Princeton Review but they don't respond.
Any help would be appreciated!!!

I am curious where your fiance is writing the GRE-- I am travelling to Bangkok for a holiday/GRE writing as I didn't think it was offered in Korea until April.

The Kaplan book I bought seems quite good and has a CD and numerous sample tests. When I wrote the GRE in '92 the math section was mostly grade-10 level mathematics with a lot of geometry and simple algebra. At any rate, I was applying to an English faculty and the department didn't worry much about my math section scores-- that section was more or less a formality. I hope this helps at least slightly.

CC,

I sent you a PM. Please let me know whether you do not receive it.

Moldy,

From what I understand, the test is next offered in Korea as a paper-based test in June. Then, not again until October when the GRE will take on a new format, which will include analytical q's similar to what you did when you took the GRE in '92. You may want to check into taking the paper-based format, as it may be easier for you than the CAT format. Personally, I prefer a paper-based test, as I can write notes directly onto the test, rather than going back and forth between the computer screen and my notes.
