Anyone know where, or if, I can watch the Super Bowl on a big screen, eat chicken wings, and take down a large draft or thirty? I see the NFL broadcasts replayed a few days later on Korean cable, but I wouldn't mind seeing the Super Bowl live at an all night bar if my schedule permits. |

Doubtful, though I remember a long time ago Nashville had the game on live as they serve breakfast. Remember AFN Prime MAY NOT have the game on, it may only be on AFN Sports which means you will have to go to the USO .
Maybe if there is enough interest Rocky Mountain Tavern could be talked into it
HOWEVER This weekend AFN Prime wasn't supposed to have the games on (thats what myafn.net said) however the past 2 days when I got up to my suprise they were on. so who knows
SBS Sports will likely have the game on live. They showed the CIncy game today |

I'm pretty confident the Super Bowl will be on AFN Prime. They've been playing Monday Night Football as well as the playoffs. Also, if you're not in an AFN-available area, but have cable or Skylife, there is one Korean cable sports channel that plays the Super Bowl live every year, but with Korean commentary. I think it's SBS Sports or MBC Sports.
As for watching it on the big screen, I'm not sure where would have it. After all, the game's live start will be around 9 or 10 in the MORNING Korean time. Not exactly the best hour for chicken wings and thirty drafts. |

Last year, Three Alleys Pub in Itaewon showed the game on a big screen so i imagine they'll do it again this year. They had a nice breakfast for around 10,000, flowing beer, and plenty of people to chat with. |

Now we're talking. I'll check that out. I may have to take a sick day. By the way, do any of you use your sick days, or do you just let them accumulate and then vanish when your contract is over? |

oh my god that sounds good. Chewys, Jorges...or going way back--Eata-Fajita...or the famous fajitas at the Hyatt, or just some margs at Juan Goldsteins on 6th st...of course the Chili Parlor doesn't sound bad...no wait--I've go it--the Oasis--that might be the place to be in Austin on Super Sunday...big envy here, have fun, spill chili con queso all all the place and savor your time in the hill country... |
