Brazil all the way. I'm from England and my pals over there keep saying this is our year but realistically, you can't look past the current champs. We have Rooney, Gerrard, Lampard and Beckham but I'd rather have Ronaldhino, Kaka, Adriano, Baptista, Edmilson, Emerson, etc.
Holland look good as well, but the boys in yellow will walk it..

Why has my post been deleted? Anyone care to enlighten me? Why is it ok for Yaya to say 'f*ck England' but I'm not allowed to say 'f*ck Korea'?
Double standards mean anything to you....???? Rolling Eyes

I've watched the 1974 final between Holland and Germany, and the Germans got away with so much.

You say that but in truth Holland only had themselves to blame to a large extent. If they hadn't spent so long pratting around with their total football (showing off their technical brilliance, toying with the Germans, trying to walk the ball into the net) and instead concentrated on getting the damn ball in the onion bag they would have got the prize their skill deserved. As Neeskens himself ruefully admitted afterwards: "We spent too long taking the piss out the Germans and forgot we actually had to score."

Not gonna argue with you there, but calls, no matter how few, can greatly change a game.

Curious thing is how soccer doesn't add another referee or two considering how many offsides, handballs and other penalties are regularly missed during games. The NFL and NBA have added refs to better call games.
